April was a thrill for all of us at MaxSold with memorable Estate Sale and Downsizing highlights across Canada and the US.
MaxSold followers enjoyed the Estate Sale Online Auction from a $1.5 Million dollar home (which was preserved like a Victorian time capsule). There is even a time lapse video of the tightly organized preview event.
MaxSold tackled several downsizing sales and estate sales in Colorado Springs (Colorado), West Vancouver and Surrey (British Columbia), and across New England, New York Tri State and Washington DC Metro. MaxSold followers had a laugh (and proceeded to bid competitively) when vintage mechanical size clowns (that talk and move!) went up for online auction with MaxSold along with the entire contents of a unique vintage business in Toronto.

Feather Lite Singer sewing machine with foot pedal, case, and sewing machine table. 30x30x30.
Wallace sterling set, Grande Baroque pattern, with wooden salad fork and spoon. Appears to be about 90 pieces, in vintage case.
Blue enamel and 24k gold gilt Sarah Faberge egg signed in original box. It is one of a set of four Seasons – Spring. It is limited edition, number 148 or 250. Purchased in Russia from House of Faberge. Enclosed in green egg is a small Asprey clock and this piece comes with a brass stand.
12 pieces of high quality dollhouse miniatures. The furniture is wood and the chairs have fabric seats. The rug is silk. The pedestal tray sitting under the tiered dish is handcrafted in sterling silver.
Vintage automatic 14k gold Gruen wristwatch and leather strap. in working order.

Box with large pitcher and small trays and more. All sterling silver.
Pair Ship oil on board with ornate frames, no signature visible, some age, 7X10 frame size 15X18.
Only four pieces of Birks sterling silver: tea pot, cream and sugar, and coffee pot. All other pieces are silver plate, including tilting tea pot with warming plate, salt and pepper, and heavy Sp tray with damage to centre, and one signed glass piece.
Made by the Glory Wooden Furniture MFG CO. Toronto. Top is approx 2 inches thick. Double pedestal base with 2 leaves. Measures 74X48X30 each leaf is 15X48 each. Seats 14 persons. Light oak finish and very good condition.
